Grooming is more about keeping your pet clean and smelling good and obviously making your pet look marvelous.  When one grooms one’s pet the satisfaction obtained is highly admirable, not only to you however your pet also benefits from being clean and looking good.

Keeping your pet or animal well groomed helps him feel comfortable and could potentially create a special bond between you and your pet.  By grooming one’s pet regularly one can be alerted to potential pet health problems before they become serious and likely too late to treat.  Regular pet grooming allows one to look for lumps, bumps and injuries, while clearing one’s pet of mats and parasites.

How often you bathe your pet is largely dependent on the breed and their daily activities. At times it may be necessary to bathe your pet more often than not. Good reviews are a good Idea

Good reviews are a good idea, and here’s why: we are intrinsically negative emotion sponges. When we have bad experiences, we remember them forever, but if we have a good experience we often forget it or it fades over time.

angery at the internet

This man is not living the dream

Some people (with too much time on their hands) have actually measured this negative bias and have determined that about five good experiences are needed to override one bad one. But if you go through the process of writing a review, you cement the good experience in your head. As you think about what went right, your brain releases the same chemicals as if you were experiencing the happy event all over again.

Bad reviews would seem like a good idea in that they warn other people away from a product. Like sticking a sign in the sand that says “Danger: Quick Sand!”. The fact that some products have few reviews while others have lots of reviews is the biggest sign in the sand to me. Even so, be careful about reviewing a negative experience: we don’t want to be the type of people that dwell on all the bad things!

Happy Girl

"I am helping the internet!"

That said, some snake oil salesmen out there need a warning sign! And some manufactures will completely lie about what a product can do. If you fall for one of these traps, I find that you get filled with a fiery need to tell the world. You want to defend the innocent and crush the offensive! This is a good thing!

What I am addressing instead is the one time bad experiences that we just can’t let go. A first time at a restaurant may present you with a waiter or waitress that is off their rocker! Should we rush to Yelp and tell the world? Should we hold on to that negativity and relive that experience? Are we really defending the innocent? I think not.

In short I feel that a positive experience should be quickly lauded and shared. It makes us better people and helps commerce for good things grow. Negative experiences should be taken with a grain of salt and considered before warranting the effort.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

4PetsUSA is joining the massive millions who run a blog

Simi Valley, California- May 26, 2011 – Due to the increase in the competitive space of eCommerce, the 4petsusa.com webmaster and CEO have decided to start a blog in the hope that they can both inform the public and increase search ranking.

Jason started Webmastering for 4PetsUSA about a year ago with the high hopes that through “white hat” techniques he would be capable of moving 4petsusa into the top three ranks of Google search results.

One of the first things Search Engine Optimization (SEO) specialist Bruce Clay advised him to do was start a blog. Now, almost a year later, 4petsusa.com is in a place where attracting attention and links with quality blogging content can be actualized.

Blogging from a customer standpoint is great because it is a medium for research and learning, as well as advisement on products from the source. A well-run blog should give a customer insight into the heart of a company.  A worthwhile blog should address the following questions: What is important enough to write about to this company? What products do they recommend? Are they just repeating the manufacturer’s marketing, or are they giving educated opinions from within the industry?

From the perspective of SEO, blogging offers the perfect medium to sculpt keywords, attract links, and test what their customers are interested in.

4PetsUSA is a small website trying to do good by their customers among a sea of manufacturers and distributors that could care less. We hope this new medium will offer a voice to the customers as to what they want and create a dialogue that will benefit both the business and the buyer.
